Depending on which character you are playing at the time, players who get through Prankster’s Paradise in Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance will have to defeat the Dream Eaters Char Clawbster or Chill Clawbster. As Sora tries reaching Monstro to free Pinocchio and Jiminy from within the massive beast, the Chill Clawbster attacks, freezing the whale. Realizing the danger it poses to his friends, Sora engages the monster in battle.

 Here are a few tips for beating a case of the crabs in this Prankster’s Paradise guide on defeating Chill Clawbster.

This guide will show you what moves they will be busting out, how to set up and what to be aware of. Most of the bosses that lead up to the Crabby Cakes Duo are pretty mild, but if you are looking for some Kingdom Hearts 3D help you have come to the right place.

Be sure to have your links up to full capacity before daring to confront the boss. You will need them. When you come upon a cave type area named The Ocean Depths, get ready as it’s the last room before Chill Clawbster.

Riku has a better time of it with the Chill Clawbster than Char Clawbster. As the battle is underwater, it’s the time to use large jumps in flow motion to evade any enemy attacks being thrown at you. Consider whipping out spells that are more successful on still targets like bubble, spark, and thundera.

Be aware that he gets riled up and starts low flying around the map a bit more. At this height he easy to reach But has a few attacks that can catch you off guard. A big on that will knock Sora on her butt is a large downward thrust. Plus he has this green laser that is smart to avoid. Just keep on with the flow motion and you can side-step these.

The most irritating attack that is early on in his health bars is a freeze bubble that is wide spreading. It’s easy avoided by jumping off the side walls to start flow motion; any other way seems to put you in its path.

Good to note here- if he gets a hold of you on the ground for a round of pounding you to ground beef, stay aware of your health bar. If you think you are laying out some serious damage after some body slams, try and use bubble or thundera to finish his health bar.  When Chill Clawbster is at 1 HP he starts swiping down the platforms to level them all out and an opening appears. Be sure to use flow motion to get around and work towards the opening in the frozen Monstro. Start hammering on that spot (around his head) to set him free as you want to break him out so he can reality shift.

Just like the other reality shifts in Prankster’s Paradise, once freed you can use him as a mount and at this point you have a need for steed! So this is where it gets tricky. Pick one side and go to the extreme left or right of the screen. Ride your Monstro TaunTaun to go after Chill Clawbster and catch up to him, he will try and pop your bubble by hurtling fire discs at you. The best defence to serpentine and alternate from left to right to try and lessen how many fire discs make contact. You will have to weather 3 rounds of fire discs being thrown so do all you can to weave between them Sea Biscuit style with your Monstro. After the 3^rd round you should overtake Chill Clawbster and be able to finish him off. In the end, the Chill Clawbster is swallowed by Monstro.No happy ending for him!
