Imagine yourself as a member of a proud, tough group of soldiers deployed overseas.  You are a Navy SEAL, to be exact, the cream of the crop when it comes to U.S. military special operations forces.   You’re fighting for your country’s honor in very dangerous circumstances, and while being a Navy SEAL is definitely something to be proud of, it is also a very hectic, stressful responsibility.  And when you come home to America, you find your family in disarray.  Even worse, the bad guys have infiltrated civilian territory – looks like there’s no respite from the chaos after all.

Welcome to the world of Preacher, who will be the main protagonist in DICE and Danger Close’s October offering Medal of Honor: Warfighter.  A new trailer was released earlier today, and you can view it in its entirety above.  As you can probably surmise, Warfighter will not take place mainly on enemy grounds.  Rather, its main setting would be the civilian side of things.  In here we will be seeing how military service can potentially tear families apart, much to the detriment of the individuals called to serve their country.  This should provide an interesting twist to the Medal of Honor series, and we only have two months and three weeks remaining before Warfighter’s October 23 release.

The last part of the trailer served as a reminder of the perks offered to gamers who pre-order Medal of Honor: Warfighter on the game’s official site.  We had told you last time that pre-order customers would have access to the Battlefield 4 beta version late next year – that’s quite a long time from now, but just to remind you, there are three Battlefield 3 DLCs remaining in the cycle.  The trailer should pretty much do the trick, but just in case it doesn’t, the game itself promises to make analyst Doug Creutz (who recently predicted lower Warfighter sales due to gamer disinterest) eat his words.
