Today Blizzard released a glimpse at the upcoming changes at the new patch. The tweaks are mostly targeted to the endgame content making our lives easier in Inferno and our drops better. You can check on all the details HERE. Notable changes will for example be damage and health adjusting in Inferno Act II, more rare drops, raising costs on lvl 60 repairs or for example decrease in crafting costs (I was also crafting before I ve discovered Auction House, were all my items are nicely grouped for a very suitable, decreasing, costs – so no more 20x times crafting a Dex item for Int based character…)
There is also part which I am quite afraid of:
Class tuning is not a major focus for 1.0.3. There will be a small number of skills changes, but for the most part we want people to continue experimenting and enjoy their skills for a while. Our goal was and continues to be build diversity, and though we see quite a bit of build diversity, we think we can do much better. Class tuning will be an ongoing process, and we’re targeting the 1.1 patch for most class tweaks, with a focus on punching build diversity up a few more notches.
Well, so lets prepare ourselves for some “”small number” of surprises.
P.S.: For those who are getting the “update loop” when Diablo 3 is saying there is a new update and restarting, and does it over and over again here is the solution that helped me (playing EU server).
