As of yesterday Blizzard nerfed Monk, Deamon Hunter and Wizard. Immediately the active discussion on Battle.net forums was ignited (Here). Most negative comments are turned towards decreasing Smoke Screen duration decrease to one second for DH, and for Mantra of Healing nerf. The Force Armor rune for Wizard is also getting nerfed, but it does not to seem to cause is major comment wars from players.
Most of the forum submissions are related to unplayable Inferno for melee characters. Therefor making the Monk a corpse, run, corpse play in Act I on Inferno difficulty. Many players suggested that nerfing classes instead of improving bad skills is a bad decision. As one of players wrote:
Let me get this straight.
Wizards are soloing Inferno with 4-digit health.
Demon Hunters are soloing Inferno with Smokescreen.
Account hacks are rampant.
Gold spam fills General chat.
The servers are as shoddy as can be.
There’s enough bugs and errors on the AH that you could potentially lose hundreds of thousands of gold.
Disconnects and rollbacks are exceedingly common.
Monks and Barbarians get screwed royally in Inferno.
And someone, in their infinite wisdom, decided nerfing Monks into the ground was a good way to spend manpower? Are you freaking kidding me?
…personally I agree. The list of changes is here.
