Officials from both EA and Crytek have announced that Crysis 3 will be coming to PCs and consoles in the Spring of 2013.  Set in the remnants of New York, Crysis 3 promises to deliver more of the action-packed, sandbox-style shooting that fans of the series have grown accustomed to.

Unlike its predecessor, Crysis 3 will be set inside a Nanodome. Functioning more like a jungle than an urban city, the setting comes across as more reminiscent of the original Crysis than its sequel.  Based on early screenshots it appears that Crytek will once again seek to push the limitations of high-end graphics chips.

EA has announced three pre-order bonus packs: the Stalker Pack, Overkill Pack and Predator Pack.
